My forum has suddenly just gone offline and I'm not able to view cpanel either. Could anyone tell me what's happened please?

The server 78.129.128.20 (typhoon.eukhost.com) seemed to have an unplanned outage which now seems to have got resolved.

It came back on last night after about an hour but I've just checked it this morning at 10am and it's offline again?!

Hope you got it all sorted. Sometimes a website hosting can go down from time to time for a little while as nothings perfect

It's really tempting to put the link for the uptime on my Dedicated Server here just to prove that point wrong

Your website hosting is one example of a website hosting. There are millions of website hostings. I said sometimes

lol Plus unless your website hosting is pinged every second you cannot guarentee it has been up as long as it says it is without even a small outage. For example my website hosting is checked every 10 minutes - but it could be down for 9 and half minutes in between checks

Mine is checked every 2 minutes - which to be honest should produce reliable results.

Oh I don't doubt it. Was just saying that sometimes some website hostings go down for reasons beyond our control or because there is a problem in our own local area as opposed to the local area of the server

True

If the server was as useless as my wireless internet connection, it would be down all the time

Wireless Internet connections and routers have always been my 2 big Internet related nightmares!!! There nothing but trouble! (for me anyway).
