I was unable to find a knowledge base article, faq or forum article to solve my needs.

I have a domain name registered at 123-Reg and want to use it as an 'addon domain' to my eUK gold account. However, I don't want to change registrars.

As I understand what I have been able to find out , if I change the name servers on my 123 domain to point at eUK, I can then create an addon in my eUK cPannel. [are there some steps missing here or is it really that simple?]

Now the question...

If I change the name server to the same as my eUK hosted domain will that mean that my email forwarding rules are then controlled by eUK and I must then set them up again? If so, is there any way to leave the email [MX record?] with 123 and just the www/ftp handeled by eUK [A record?]

Changing the nameservers will leave all the priority to the server the nameservers are pointed at.

So if you point the nameservers to a eukhost server, the mail will be controlled by eukhost.

Also, cPanel has easy to use email forwarding features that take no time to set up

Would only changing the A record have the same effect for use as an addon domain as far as the www goes? Or am I barking up the wrong tree because thats not whatan A record does?
