New live chat package on your Website?

I have always considered the live-chat support to be one of the better features of the EUKHost support services.

But it seems to be broken (upgraded?).

Instead of the customary cheerful response within a few moments (couple of minutes max) I am faced with this after 45 MINUTES:

Is this the new 'norm' or is there a specific issue at the moment?

I am finding this as well! It might be nice to have some indication of where you were in the queue or something....

Yes a 'Position' indicator would be nice.
Or something at least to let you know you were not wasting your time or had been forgotten about or somehow disconnected.
Recent Live chat attempts have been quick to connect but last week it was Ssslloooowww.

This seems to be a software problem but when you face such problem then close the window and start new chat session.

If your chat is not accepted in 1 - 2 mins max then its good to close that window and start a new session.

From my experience, LiveChat requests are answered almost instantaneously so if your hanging around for a while, theres probably something up with the session. There is no harm in starting a new session and it only takes a second or so to close one session and start another so theres no disadvantage to restarting the session.

Ultimately if you can't get through on LiveChat (there may be a problem or some other reason) you can always raise a ticket as a backup plan.
