Problems logging into new installation of WP

I know EUKHost, don't really provide support for Wordpress, so I thought I'd post a question up here about a problem I'm having.

I've just installed a new instance of Wordpress and everything seemed to go fine. However, for some reason, I can't login.

I'm definitely using the right login details, but when I submit them the admin page just refreshes. There's no error message or anything ... it's just like I've loaded up the page again.

Has anyone else run into this?

Provide me the domain name so that I will investigate further or you may open a support ticket on our helpdesk .

Hi Simon,

Patrick is our Wordpress expert and he can fix all types of wordpress blog problems. Please give him required information and he will get this problem sorted for you.

Hmmmm, doesn't mod_security sometimes cause log in problems with some software?

nope. mod_security will redirect you to the homepage of your website or give some errors like 406 or 302. Login problems occur due to problem within tables of wordpress database which can be sorted by upgrading your wordpress version from Fantastico or you can ask Patrick to fix it.
