Default Problems posting...

Hey there , i'm not sure if this is the correct place to post but here i go ...... i have problems with Both phpnuke and Joomla , here is the story......

once upon a time.... i installed joomla onto my Dedicated Server using fantasticko, made changes and added templates and modules etc and that was fine !! ......recently ive not been able to make changes to the welcome page that was posted up through a news item, every time i make a change and try to save it ........ it bounces me back to the main URL where i have a splash screen linking to the joomla site, it will allow me to make new news storys but once you have made them you cant edit it to make changes

the next problem is ..... i then installed PHPnuke into another directory put on a template and pretty much the same thing happens, can install templates , put posts on the forum, pretty much everything but cant changes these original posts , it literaly just bounces me right back to the Main URL

i was thinking i might have permissions wrong somewhere possibly? has anyone any idea ?? its starting to do my head in ! ive looked all over for an answer with no luck:S

oh and another thing..... i thought of checking the error log to see if there is anything logged when this happens....... not a thing on the error log in the cpanel , is there another way to check the logs ?

Help , im desperate

thanks in advance

Hello,

This is very clear problem due to mod security. You just have to insert a code in your .htaccess file to disable mod_security.
