Default Server down again

Hi my sites seem to be down on a regular basis, I'm on to support practically daily. Ive read another post about their sites being on the Manchester server. Can anyone tell me what location mine are on? Sites Ive got are artlink.uk.net, choicesandrights.org.uk, axisgraphic.co.uk etc

I'm really starting to get concerned about the downtime of my sites. I don't want to complain but there is only so long my clients are going to put up with this before they dump me and I'm starting to get more interest from bigger clients now. I am not feeling confident that I will give them a professional service on this current hosting plan!

Hello Chris,

I did explain you the situation over live chat. Your sites are on Puma as well. This server's home partition is currently in Read-Only mode. This is being worked upon. The sites will be back online soon.

If you are looking for higher plans where you have more isolation in terms of issues and usage, then we do have VPS plans in place. These not only give you root access, but also WHM along with Virtuozzo Power Panel to manage and perform administrative tasks to the level of being able to restart and reinstall OS yourself for your VPS.

If you have corporate customers banking on you, then a VPS would be a better option. Though expensive compared to the shared hosting plans, it will give you better performance levels.

You also said it would be 10 to 20 mins before it's back online. That was well over an hour ago - still nothing. And it seems to be a different reason each time / day that I contact you guys. Also linux shared hosting guarantees the same amount of uptime as vps, so I can't see why vps should be any more stable. If VPS is better hosting and that guarantees 99.9% uptime then what is the true uptime of linux shared?

Also what location is the server that holds my websites please?

Thanks

I was on puma and have recently moved to a VPS.. The VPS seems a lot more efficient/reliable.
