Default Server Maintenence?

atm my website hosting (www.fusion-enterprises.org) is down, after a livechat with someone there, apparently the Admins are working on the server, so I may face down time

If this is planned maintenence then it would have been nice to be told, if not, it would have been nice to have something in the forum about it

The maintenance must have been completed as I can access your website hosting from my end.

I'm only a forum gremlin (moderator), and do not work for eUKhost in any way. Opinions expressed by me are mine only, and do not reflect those of either eUKhost or any company that may be listed above.

I don't bite, honest.

Yup, works fine here aswell. No server is 100% stable, but eUKhost does keep their servers at a very reliable level.

I'm on the typhoon server

Just that it looks bad on me as I offered to set up the website hosting for the organisation I'm in, and with downtime happening I'm wondering if I made the correct choice

I have requested one of our senior system admins to look at Typhoon. Typhoon is getting filled right now so its not 100% stable right now as some new accounts get added to it daily and sometimes we need to weed out bad accounts which overload the server. We will stop filling this server within a week so you wont face any problem on the server after that but for now Alex is on top of it and will weed out all problems from the server.

Thats one of the problems with shared hosting - you've got to be able to trust the other account holders not to abuse the resources that are shared between everyone.
