Hello,

I would like to know if there is any chance I could run an upload server (written with asp.net) on the Tucano server which would listen on a port and accept connections from a client program for uploading multiple files and directories to my account's folder. Yes, I could use FTP but this is a development of mine which I'm hoping to be able to test on a remote server. It would only be for private testing purposes. Does eukhost allow user-written programs to use different ports on the server?

Not too sure if this will be allowed due to security on the servers (especially after recent problems).

However, to make sure you could check with support by opening a ticket (support@eukhost.com) or starting a LiveChat from the main eUKhost website hosting (www.eukhost.com).

We cannot open any additional ports on the server. You need to consider a Windows VPS Hosting or Windows Dedicated server to use make your code work as per your design.
