Default URL redirecting

Can anyone tell me if this scenario is possible, and if so how do I go about doing it.

With EUKHost my daughter has a domain name for her photography.

philipparickettsphotography.com she wants to forward that url to a subdomain of my site, say

photography.readyartbrut.com

Any ideas how this would be done, she wont have access to a cpanel on her side due to only having the domain and not hosting via EUKHost, my hosting is through them though.

Simply add a small PHP file (index.php) on the page you want to redirect to somewhere else.

PHP Code:
<?php
header
('Location: http://www.newurl.com');
?>

So essentially I would need hosting for it no matter what, as someone would have to host that page.

You can point her domain to nameservers of your domain which are :-

NS7.EUKDNS.COM
NS8.EUKDNS.COM

Once you do that then you can add her domain as an addon domain from your cpanel control panel and you can setup a redirect for her domain to point to your subdomain while adding the addon domain. There's no need to maintain a separate hosting account for her domain.

Default didnt want to start a new thread this one is so similar

hi im brand new here bought my gold plan last night,

i have a domain with 123-reg and i have changed the name servers from the 123-reg ones to the eukhost ones as instructed by the knowledgebase, but how can i check this has worked?

i havent uploaded any of my site to the cpanel yet, (I'm new to cpanel hosting,) shall i make a quick test index page and put it in public_html then visit my domain to see if it is displayed?

and what is the normal time for the nameservers to be updated please?

This can vary immensely, from instantaneous to a couple of days - but on average within a couple of hours.

I think the easiest way to check is to upload a test file - call it index.html and overwrite the existing file.

Before navigating to that page - you could try a whois lookup for your domain and there you can see if the nameserver change has propagated.

Registration status:
Registration request being processed.

Name servers:
ns43.eukdns.com
ns44.eukdns.com

WHOIS lookup made at 11:36:11 17-Mar-2008
this is what i got from the whois lookup, the servers are correct but it says my registration is being processed as you can see. i have an index page in my Public_html but it doesnt show if i type in my domain..
