How to get my local sql databases on to the server?

Hi, I have been reading the previous threads about getting the SQL Server databses to work and I understand that the only way for me to do it is to generate a script of the databases I have on my local machine (of which have data in them that I need to keep), using managment studio 2005 and run this on the newly created database on the server.

The main problem is that using the SQL Server managment studio, Ii does not display any of my databases. When I expand the databases folder it just has a subfolder of system databses and no others, when it should have.

Is there any other possible way of getting the databases onto the server, whilst keeping the data?

Not to worry I have worked out how to do it.

Forget my last post as I generated the script but now it says 'could not read metadata, possibly due to insufficient access rights', when I try to run it against the database I have created on the server.

Hi, the 'Execute' permission on the database from remote locations is denied by default for security reasons. As a workaround if you upload the MSSQL scripts [.SQL files] into your webspace & provide me the domain name & DB name, I'll dump them into your database directly from the server.

sorry for the late reply but I got it working in the end, instead of running the script from a file or clipboard, I just used a query window and it seemed to work.
