Hi Folks,

Is it possible to upload an MP3 file to one of my folders so it loads and plays when you visit a certain page.

I have tried with ftp and through file manager and it fails each time. Is it because the file is 4Mb or because hosting of MP3's is not allowed..?

I'm not entirely sure what's causing this problem - are the permissions on the folder you're trying to upload to correct? If so, I suggest you open a support ticket and let the staff look at it.

Please however take note of this extract from the terms and conditions:

Although it is an MP3 file - Ihave purchased it on line and am not adding it to be downloadable, just simply play on load of my page.

I hope that is ok..??

What's the name of the MP3 track? If it has copyright protection, you are not legally allowed to do that (even if it's playing on your page)

It's the ebay parody song. easy to find on youtube. How do you know if it's copy protected..??

The way RIAA and ASCAP have set up copyright is that if you even play it loud and somebody outside can hear it you have to pay for rights for it :S
