Default Sending Mail via ASP

My site used to send email, via ASP, using CDOSYS prior to the migration to Plesk, but since then it has stopped working and now when trying to send mail I get a 500 internal server error message.

Do the servers no longer support this function, and if so, what is the alternative. CDONTS perhaps?

Hi,

You need to disable custom errors both through Plesk and from the IE options menu - this will ensure that you are displayed with the correct error. The 500 error is just a generic error which doesn't really shed any light on the problem.

Below is the error that is returned:
Quote:
CDO.Message.1 error '80040220'

The "SendUsing" configuration value is invalid.

/contact2.asp, line 33
The script I have written worked fine until the migration. Anyone any ideas what could be causing this?

I cannot get a form to work on my site. I have used a working form and script from another server, but I cannot get it to work with the Eukhost server.
I get the error also CDO.Message.1 error '80040220'

The "SendUsing" configuration value is invalid.

/working-thankyou.asp, line 143

What does error '80040220' mean?

Thanks for any help

Hi,

Please open a ticket with 'winodws [at] eukhost.com' as it looks like the CDO config needs some tweaking.
