What are eUKhost's policies re blocking ports?
I have two accounts on different shared servers.
A check on common ports on one give
Quote:

53/tcp open domain ISC BIND Named
80/tcp open http Apache httpd
110/tcp open pop3 Courier pop3d
143/tcp open imap Courier Imapd (released 200
443/tcp open ssl/http Apache httpd

If one server has a more limited set, why haven't they both?
I guess there are applications which need to remotely access a MySQL server but does port 3306 need to be open by default? (I'm glad I use cPanel's password generator to create a 12 chara random password!)
What are ports 111, 333 and 8009? Do they need to be open?
