Hardware replacement of server2.eukdns.com ( 147.202.42.188 ).

We will be replacing hardware of this server as the hardware has become old and that has been affecting performance of the server. All the data from this server will be copied to another Dual Xeon on Saturday 15th April 2006. There's no option left to upgrade memory of this server nor the OS can be reloaded without any downtime.

We have decided to copy static contents first and then we will copy the MySQL Server databases on Saturday night alongwith DNS changes. Shared IP of the new server will be 64.38.20.218 and all the website hostings currently running from server2.eukdns.com will resolve from 64.38.20.218 and dedicated IP owners will be receive new dedicated IP as a replacement.

There should not be any downtime during this transfer as we will make DNS changes only after transfer & verification of the data.
