Default Viri

What viri was it that caused this catastrophe?

Will you be reinbersing your customers for all their lost work?

And where exactly in the world is this server?

The IP address resolves to the US.

Well, it's now been well over 2 hours and still - my website is not up and neither have I recieved any of my emails. I gather you'll be crediting my account with a years hosting credit.

Default Who to believe?!

Since 10 O'clock yesterdsay morning, all I have received from support is 1 to 2 hours, then 2 to 4 hours, then a little more time maybe another 2 hours, but less than 5 minutes ago the latest is: And hopefully, all will be running fine by today midnight!!

Thats 2 active days of business down the pan, no emails, no websites, 4 in total and no real news when the service will be up and running again to try and salvage some of my loss.

Can anyone from eukhost give a true honest answers to its customers please.

Those who have not PM'd so far should do that right now.

This windows server is in US and most of our problems have been coz of that. We started setup of new servers from 2006 in our London based datacenter but the old servers are in US and those who wish to have their accounts on our UK server can email me on mark[at]eukhost.com.

Although I'll be greatful once this is resolved I'll undoutably be left sorting through emails like crazy...

As I've mentioend already - it is now well beyond the two hour time limit you mentioned - more like four hours now -

Please reimburse my account with a years worth of hosting as you promised since this has already caused enough mayhem over this end as is...

I would like my account moved to a reliable server.
And yes I would prefer a UK based server.

Sadly I am unable to email you at the moment, I appear to be having a few issues with my email.......

I think as well as having servers in the UK they rent some servers in the US.

As for reinbersing customers I suspect they'll point to some small print in the terms (wherever they are) stating that you're responsible for backing up your own website. Or atleast I recall my last host using that when a server broke.

Allufrio,

We will definately compensate for this as this has been a huge setback for our efforts from last 8 months. We tried to implement everything possible to bring perfection in our hosting service but this windows server opened some loopholes.

I am personally a linux expert so I know what has to be done incase of a problem with linux server. I have handled n number of problems with linux servers as well as windows servers but automation in linux is too simple while for windows it is too difficult coz you are dependent on guidelines of microsoft. I love opensource OS for the same reason.

Anyways.. We can have remaining discussion once all the websites are back to normal functioning.

Eidolon,

This wont be the case over here. You will get 1 years hosting credited to your account.

I will personally take care of that once we get this problem sorted today.

All staff members are working their hardest to get servers back online. The problem we have is communication with our old US datacenters which has really gone done hill over recent years.

Windows crashes are common as im sure you all know however when it happens with a server it causes alot more issues.

Thought i would also share this video:
www. holylemon.com/WindowsCrash.html

Thanks for your patience during difficult times and we promise all issues will be sorted as soon as we can but we can not go any faster than we are currently working so I apologize on that regard.

Thank you.

Kind Regards

Robert King

I have several domain names pointing at my server, those with DNS external to this server are pointing at an IIS Under Construction page, those with DNS hosted by you are showing Page Cannot be Displayed.
I am also unable to login to plesk, so this would suggest plesk is no longer configured for any of my domains.
Please advise.

My apologies, I stand corrected.

I've got a feeling sooner or later I'll be shifting another website to here as a host I've used for many years has gone downhill since it got taken over by Pipex.
