We did try to restore the backup like we do with normal backups but it didn't work out so we have to copy and paste some of your files manually. Our Admins are trying their level best to restore all domains and settings as soon as possible.

instantly, are you sure? becuase I pm'd you with my details and guess what - six hours later and no news - no website hosting running and even better, no emails... So I've been sitting at my desk all day waiting for something to get sorted so I could do some work but nothing. After so many promises and false hopes nothing has gotten sorted. And now you're saying you're sorting it out in alphabetical order - so when you reach 'M' which at this rate will take forever, who's going to compensate me for the amount of money I've lost thus far. This is simply ridiculous! I'm headed out of the office now, I hope this is sorted by tommorow because I don't think I'll have the patience to go through this again.

Default Over 36 hours for Cut and Paste!!

Having now waited for over 36 hours and read so many false promises and cut and paste excuses, having PM'd my website hostings when requested, am i one of the undfortuante ones that because my webiste address begins with www. uk has to wait until last?! At least by that time you guys should know how to cut and paste quickly.

If this is the case of you doing it in alphabetical order what happened to my website hostings at. www. f

I await some more promises

I to am still waiting for a resolution to this issue. Some domains are working but no data, some give "Service Unavailable". SQL Server database is not present, email addresses missing.

This is the biggest mess I have ever seen.

Default Some not so Lucky!!

Hi welshylad

At least your luck in a way and have some website hostings semi working. None of mine are working at all. No email available either and no plesk login aloud.

I agree, complete mess and looking back through this thread, the virus didn't even exist. It's looks more like a case of a sh*t server waiting to crash and a virus sounds good as an excuse.

Why would any server provider then put down their servers by saying if 10 users try and login all at once then this would surely bring the server down again!!

Doesn't sound much like a virus to me!!

Could it be it was decided to upgrade the server to plesk 7.6.1 from the earlier version that was present prior to the "Virus" and the upgrade did not go as planned.

I am now going to ask support to delete all entries for myself on this server and create me a decent account on a UK based server.

If that fails i'm off.

I really dont have anything to say of now but I am sorting database problems of restored accounts. Other guys are continuing with the restores so we need some more time to complete the restores.

There was no upgrade ro anything attempted on the server. Network virus damaged networking service completely on the server and DC invested couple of hours in repariing the old drive. We lost another 12 hours after that in attempt to restore backup as it is and the n number of plesk and windows errors made us loose our patience. We started manual restore after Lunch ( today ) so the previous 24 hours were complete waste of time.

All staff members are working their hardest to get servers back online. The problem we have is communication with our old US datacenters which has really gone done hill over recent years.
Can I suggest this server is taken down as by you own admission it is not a desired solution and all account currently on this server be moved to a new UK based server.

Thats not an option right now. If we start with that now then it will take more than 24 hours more for restoration and probablly all customers on this server would leave by that time.

We will bring website hostings back to normal functioning on this server first and we can move accounts one by one every weekend to eliminate any downtime that may come due to transfers.

This has been sorted. If anyone else is getting this error then please open a ticket from http://support.eukhost.com and provide me with the ticket number over here to followup with our windows system admins.
