Things are going smoothly with the reinstalled plesk server but we will provide additional option to customers to review hosting controller.

We will provide you with control panel login details for Server with Hosting Controller and those who would like to give it a try for few days may do so. Plesk to Hosting Controller Transfer should be done from your end only and we wont provide any transfer assistance incase of move from Plesk to Hosting Controller.

Hi my website hostings, which have worked fine all morning, have now become unavailable again.

Any ideas?

My website hostings are showing "Service Unavailable" again :/ This is far from ideal, as one of the website hostings you host for me is my portfolio and I have been applying for jobs all morning. I have opened a ticket.

My website hostings are now back online again. Can I have some assurance that they are going to stay online? Otherwise I'd rather remove my portfolio website hosting and change my email on the CV's I'm sending out, as it looks very unprofessional if I'm pointing perspective employers at a website hosting that doesn't exist and anything they're trying to send back to me might be bouncing.

I have changed your application pool and the problem has got sorted. We are restoring accounts of customers of resellers so the application pool has got some problem. We have recylced the application pool so you should not face any problems now.

Im still experiencing some very strange things when I try to access my website hostings.

Sometimes there is a Server Unavailable message, sometimes there is nothing there (404 error), but now its asking me for a username and password.

I was wondering if you could shed some light on the issue? It would be nice to tell my client something meaningful instead of just "oh my hosting company is having some problems", as its starting to sound just like an excuse on my part.

I understand that you are experiencing problems, and are trying your best to sort them out, but a little more info (if you have any) would be nice.

Thanks again

PHP version has been upgraded on the server but it needs a reboot. We ran plesk full backup before an hour so it will take some more time for the backup to complete. We will reboot the server once backup is complete and webmail as well as php problem would get sorted with the reboot.

PHP version has been upgraded on the server and webmail service has started functioning. If you face any other problem with the server then please feel free to update this thread.

yeah, some of my php apps dont function like they used to, or give errors.

the error is...

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(C:\PHP\Sessions\sess_lthc2mksommiovanauq31cfs 17, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in

this is for a php estore app called cubecart, I also use phpadsnew for ad management, this has stopped working and wont let me log in. wordpress works fine however.

I'm not getting an error message with webmail now, just a blank page with "Plesk Web Mail Client" as the title.

Thumbs up

Hello,

New installed PHP is having path C:\PHP5. So you will have to edit this path for particular applications.

If the problem persists then please place a ticket for it including all necessary details. So that we can investigate further.

Regards,
Shane

Please dont tell me Im going to have to reinstall and reconfigure all of my PHP applications. How many more setbacks is this server problem going to cause?

I cant aford to spend any more time messing around, all of my applications and website hostings worked fine before this OS reinstall and now nothing works properly.

Is it possible for you to resolve this so that I have not got to spend the next week trying to get back to the point I was at before all this began? It has already put me about 4 days behind.

I understand you have been working really hard getting everything fixed but you guys primised me you would have my account fully working and back to normal, working as it was before things got messed up.

I have emailed support a while back, so hopefully I will hear in the morning.

Thanks.

I appologise for this being my third post in a row but...

You know, how can I consider charging two current clients full price for a website hosting that will be delivered so late?

And how can I possibly regain their trust in me and the reliability of their website hosting, given that so far all they have seen is a website hosting that rarely works?

I tested their website hostings fully before the weekend and they both worked perfectly, I then told one of them it would be ready for him to launch on Monday. So he started telling people to go and look at it this week, now he looks like a bit of a fool because they have not been able to access it or when they have its not worked correctly. Who do you think he holds responsible? I can only tell him so many times that my web host is sorting it out before he decides to tell me where to stick his website hosting.

I know you are doing your best, but I just want things to work like they did before. Otherways there wont be much point as I will have lost my clients for good.

Im a bit naffed off as well at the moment - i havent been able to recieve email for over 48 hours (although i can send). Apparently something to do with the dns change. Have spoken to live chat support on quite a few occasions in the last few days but no resolution - have resorted to emailing support to see if that makes a difference. Needless to say i cant live or maintain my work without my email!!!

On the upside though server status and support has vastly improved since i joined EUKHost back in 2004 - back then they really did have a very, very bad rep! In the last year i havent really had any problems really (other than since last weekend).
