Default Service Outage

Dear Customers,

All our shared servers, VPS Hosting nodes, Semi-dedicated host machines and shared servers in the subnet range of 92.48.*.* , 87.117.*.* , 78.129.*.* faced problems earlier today. The servers on the 92.48.*.* are back to normal functionality. However the servers on the other two subnets are still facing a few problems.

We first reckoned its a network problem as our network administrators were investigating it. But we still do not know the exact cause of this outage. As always we will update you all with the exact reasons and the measures taken to avoid them. We still await an official statement from the DC.

Respected Customers,

All the three subnets are back. The eukhost.com network is back to full fledged functionality. The exact cause of the outage has still not been found out. The engineers team see a few possibilities. Once we get to know from them and from the DC, we will share the information with you all.

Eukhost.com would like to appreciate the patience and understanding shown by the customers during this while.

Default Loss of e-mail and WWW

One of my domains hosted on ns39.eukdns.com/ns40.eukdns.com is still out of service after four hours. When do you expect to restore service?

This is not encouraging when having just taken out a reseller account and in the process of migrating a number of company and personal domains!

Default Still experiencing problems

Hi,

My web site hosting has been down for hours, and I'm just getting a repeated

message on the live chat system.

The post above seems to suggest that the problems have been solved - is this another problem?

Hello, I agree, so not best pleased to find the web site hosting still out. About an hour ago I had a live chat with an operator who said they were looking into the network outage. Unless I have missed the page, it would be good to see one page that lists the status of all eUKHost servers, including email availability.

Default My sites are down too

Yep...all my website hosting have been down for a while. Plus no access to email accounts. The worrying thing is this has happened a few times this year. Admittedly I've only stumbled on my website hosting being down a few times - but my email accounts have been inaccessible dozens of times this year for periods of 30 minutes to a few hours. I lost count of the number of times I've been onto Live Chat or recorded the matter through email. I've had a range of explanations including something about firewall security and the need to open it up more for me on my account, whatever that means. Either way my email accounts are regularly impossible to access for periods of time. I hope things improve in the future because I can't go on crossing my fingers each day that I'll be able to get into my emails.
I wonder how this all tallies with EukHost's 99.95 percent uptime guarantee - I'm no mathematician but surely .05 downtime equates to about 4 or 5 hours a year....I'm way past that figure already in the first six month of this year.
I signed up a year ago and was hugely impressed with the overall service for the first five or six months - can't say the situation's the same these days.

Wes

Yes, Wes - I've had the same thing. Emails not accessible, random server outages

As well as a shared account, with a dedicated IP, I also have a Linux VPS Hosting. Thankfully, my main client's stuff is on the VPS Hosting and that is marginally more stable.

It doesn't look good when emails that clients send get bounced.

The outage time this year seems far worse than last.

Default My Sites Up But No Cpanel Or Whm Access

Only Found out my website hosting where down because my friend text me i wudnt have realised till later this evenin. i loged into https ://yourdomain.co.uk :4643 (user = root pass= whm root pass) and stoped the container then started it up again, web site hosting still didnt come on so then i reset the firewall and all was up again, however even tho my website hosting are up i cant be able to access Cpanel or Whm which is well anoying. its bizare how its been said that this problem has been fixed in the thread yet there services are still down. i got on the blower and gave them a call and was told that they would get back to me very soon with the situation and that was about 10:30 and its coming up to 13:00. id expect them to give me a call and say it will be fixed by so and so time just to keep me informed.

Hi,

If your website hosting is still experiencing downtime or certain services are unavailable then I suggest that you open a ticket with 'support [at] eukhost.com' or from the helpdesk located at support.eukhost.com. Support can also be obtained through the live chat facility that is accessible through the main website hosting.

Not yet, I am sure the techies are working on the problem and the less hassle we give them the quicker the problem will be resolved.

This has been VERY long now. I understand that these things unfortunately tend to happen on weekends but a little update would be nice anyway.

I'm sure the support guys are doing everything they can to get servers and website hostings back up. The power outage that occured today has affected many other providers based in BlueSquare, not just eUKhost.

Unhappy How Long Are We Expected To Be Down?

Like many others sitting and waiting and appreciating that you are currently working hard to bring us all back online again, I would like to know how long they anticipate us all to be down.

We have a business to run and are loosing money by the hour.

At least if we know roughly how long we will be down we can plan ahead.

Thanks
