Q. Do you provide webmail service for accessing emails?

Ans. Yes, We provide webmail service and our customers / users can access their mailbox through webmail access URL. You can use the Mail Menu to access one of the three web mail programs NeoMail, Horde and Squirrelmail included in cPanel and MailEnable and Horde included in Plesk.

These programs will allow you to read your email through a browser window without having to make any changes to the computer you are on or leave any email on the computer you are on.

We also help our users to setup an autoresponder through their webmail interface or control panel.

Q. Can I just host a sub-domain on one of your servers?

Ans. You can host sub-domains with us. All you need to do is signup with the subdomain and our billing system would setup your account with the sub-domain. Then you will receive a welcome email from us. You can then point the A records of the subdomain name from your existing hosting account to our server.

Q. Can I get a Dedicated IP Address?

Ans. You can have a dedicated IP address, however you will have to pay extra for it. We charge £2 per month for a dedicated IP address.

Q. Do you allow access to edit php.ini file?

Ans. We don’t allow php.ini access from the shared hosting accounts on our servers. You can enable or disable various php.ini functions from .htaccess of your account, you can also enable/disable safe mode, register globals, sessions and many other functions from .htaccess.
If you need php.ini access for some other reason then you can consider our VPS Hosting plans, as you will get full root access on your VPS, and will have a dedicated environment to work with.

Q. Do you offer Co-location service? If yes then are the co-located servers fully managed like your dedicated server plans?

Ans. We can quote on this, but a co-located server is an unmanaged solution. We would simply provide a network connection and the rack space itself - you would be responsible for:
1) Sourcing hardware to install
2) Providing a router/firewall
3) Fixing the hardware if it failed 24/7
4) Providing the ability to reboot hardware
5) Things like inserting CDs, using KVMoIP
6) Providing a switch, graphing bandwidth
7) Monitoring your servers

We do not offer management service for co-located servers. You will need to have your staff member or yourself to take care of any hardware or software problems for your server. We offer only reboot and rack space for co-location servers.

If you are interested in this then let us know how much would be your bandwidth requirement for co-located servers. Our dedicated servers are a better option in comparison with co-location as our dedicated servers are fully managed servers with 24×7 phone support, live chat support and help desk.

Q. Do you block ports for server security reasons?

Ans. We don’t open any unwanted ports on our shared servers, so if you require additional port access, then we suggest you purchase a VPS Hosting plan, as you get a dedicated environment and you can run as many applications you want with any port you wish to open.

We are firm on our policies and we cannot open any additional ports on shared servers. We have started VPS plans just for customers who need custom settings along with all benefits of dedicated server.

Q. Do you offer extra bandwidth and extra disk space? If so what are the charges?

Ans. If you need extra bandwidth or extra disk space on your existing package, the best option would be to upgrade to the next higher package as that would be a cost effective solution for you. We do not charge any upgrade fees, you will only need to pay the difference in the price of the two packages.

Q. I want to run two or more websites which would have their own individual control panel? Do you have any hosting plan which I can use in this case.

Ans. Our Reseller Hosting and VPS Hosting plans would be perfect for your requirement. You can setup unlimited accounts with individual control panel access under reseller and VPS plan. All of our VPS Hosting and Reseller Hosting plans are installed with cPanel and WHM. WHM allows you to add, create and manage unlimited number of accounts, and hence you can have multiple sites with their dedicated control panel access.

Q. Do you allow Joomla installation to create new pages with nobody ownership and 777 permissions?

Ans. We have no problem with files and folders with nobody ownership or 777 permissions, as security rules implemented on our server will not allow anyone to upload anything that would create problems for server.
