Q. Do I need to transfer my domain prior to purchasing a reseller package?

If you wish to keep control of your domain name through some other provider, choose the option “I will update my nameservers only option at the time of signup. If you wish to transfer the domain name under our registration then choose the option “Transfer my Existing Domain name” at the time of signup, as that would allow us to initiate a transfer request for your domain name. Automated requests are initiated in that case and your domain name is received under our registry alongwith 1 year renewal. Your hosting account would be setup in less than 10 minutes but domain transfer may take 24 - 48 hours.
