How do I get charged for upgrading a plan?
Q. If I wish to upgrade my existing plan would the years’ payment start again or would you calculate the difference based on the time passed already?
Ans. The current hosting plan can be upgraded as and when a customer wants to. In case of upgrading from a shared hosting plan to a higher shared plan, a customer would only need to pay the price difference between the two plans. We will generate new invoice based on the difference in the plan prices only while the billing term would remain the same. In case of an upgrade from shared hosting to a reseller plan, VPS hosting or a dedicated server, the amount for unused portion of shared hosting if any, would be credited against the new invoice. The billing term would start afresh in this scenario.
