Q. How fast can I move my services to you?

Ans. Your new account would be active within 60 seconds of signing up online, but the domain name would take approximately 24 hours to switchover. Once you’re account is active, you can publish your website to your new server and then switch the domain; it is possible to have your services moved within 24 hours.

Q. Do I need to have a domain name to use your services?

Ans. We currently do require you to have a domain name to use our services. If you do not have a domain name, we can help you find a domain name and register it for you if it is available. Our order system will provide you with a list of available domains to choose with different TLD’s.

Q. Can I use my previously purchased domain name with your services?

Ans. Yes, you can use previously purchased domain name from anywhere with our services. We won’t charge you to host an existing domain with us, as we do not require that the domain be transferred to us. You would only be required to enter the domain in the first phase of the order system and then acknowledge that you are the owner of that domain. After your new account has been created, we will e-mail detailed instructions on how to activate your new service using the existing domain.

Q. Can I change my domain name later?

Ans. Yes, you can change the domain name on your account at any time you desire; however, you would need to pay the applicable registration fees to register a new domain name or the applicable domain transfer fees to transfer your existing domain to our hosting. The domain you originally purchased at the time of sign-up cannot be refunded and cannot be changed for a different domain; a new domain must be registered.

Q. Do you offer Awstats? Can I import my old log files from my current host? How many domains can I host under the Silver and Gold packages? How many mySQL databases do you get? Will you be able to offer help moving from my existing host, which uses cPanel, what if I wish to move my domains to a third party? Is upgradation of existing account easy?

Ans. Yes, we offer Awstats as well as Webalizer. You can import your log files as well as .dat files which contain your existing statistics and those will be displayed in your control panel with us.

You can host unlimited Addon domains and Parked domains on the Linux Silver package as well as Linux Gold package. The allowed number of MySQL databases are unlimited on all packages. The only restriction is the disk space allocated to your account.

We will transfer your account from another host for free of cost and we have no problem wherever you wish to keep your domain as we register domains on behalf of our customers and the ownership remains under your control in any case. An upgrade process of the account is not a problem and you can upgrade your package by only paying the price difference.

Q. Do your servers support Ruby on Rails framework? How do I go about with the installation of Ruby on Rails?

Ans. We have started supporting Ruby on Rails on all our servers and we have managed to understand its working completely as it seems to be a new trend in the web hosting industry. About the installation, Ruby on Rails is already installed on our new servers. So if you have recently setup your website with us your account should be on one of our new servers with Ruby on Rails already installed. Q : Can I have streaming media on your servers?

Ans. We do offer streaming media support on our servers. You can have offline streaming from our servers. But if you would like to go for the online streaming we recommend you purchase a VPS or a dedicated server.

Q. Which Spam Filter you have installed on your servers?

We already have SpamAssassin 2.64 (Spam Filter) installed on our servers. All e-mails processed through the server are scanned for spam on the server itself. So there’s no need to have a spam filter manually configured for specific mail-boxes.

Q. Do I need to transfer my domain prior to purchasing a web hosting package?

If you wish to keep control of your domain name through some other provider, choose the option “I will update my nameservers only option at the time of hosting package sign-up. If you wish to transfer the domain name under our registration then choose the option “Transfer my Existing Domain name” at the time of sign-up, as that would allow us to initiate a transfer request for your domain name. Automated requests are initiated in that case and your domain name is received under our registry along with 1 year renewal. Your hosting account would be setup in less than 15 minutes but domain transfer may take 24 - 48 hours.

Our support staff can assist you with transfer of your accounts as well so you don’t need to worry much about the data transfer part.

Q. Which version of PHP and MySQL is installed on your servers. Will I get Private Nameservers?

Ans. We have PHP 4.x and PHP 5.x with MySQL 5.0.51 installed on our web servers. We provide cPanel control panel on Linux cPanel Hosting Packages and Plesk control panel on Windows Hosting Packages. We have very good and stable Linux servers, as well as Windows servers. We offer 24×7 uninterrupted E-mail, Live Chat and Toll-Free Phone Support. We offer private nameservers on Reseller Hosting , VPS Hosting and Dedicated Servers only.

PHP & MySQL version can be customized as per your requirement on VPS Hosting or Dedicated Servers. If you wish to have any different version of PHP or MySQL then you can contact our support team and request them to setup / move your account on a server which has the version you need.
