Steps to Access RVSiteBuilder using cPanel:

Step 1: You must have received the cpanel username and password, in your Welcome email, after placing the order for a hosting account. In order to login to your cpanel account, navigate to: http://www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel or  http://www.yourdomainname.com:2082

It will show you the below login form:

Step 2: Enter your login details and hit the Login button, it will show you the Welcome screen shown below.

Click on “No, I’m fine. Thanks!” in order to enter your cpanel account.

Step 3: Now, In your cPanel, in the left side, enter “RVSiteBuilder” in the Find box and it will show the RVSiteBuilder Icon or scroll down and look for “RvSiteBuilder” Icon in “Software/Services” section and simly click on it.

Once you click on the RVSiteBuilder icon, it will launch and the below screen will appear.

This is the Home screen on which you will see STEP1 to STEP7 at the top of the page. From here follow the step by step instruction given below to build website using RVSiteBuilder.

Choose one of the option shown in the image: Create Web Site, Create Blog or Create Photo Gallery. Here in the tutorial we are going to show you how to create a web site. By clicking on the “Create Web Site” it will redirect you to the STEP1.

STEP 1: Create New Web Site

Here on this page, you will need to enter the details shown on the image below. Also, some check boxes are given, such as No Company Name, No Slogan and No Logo. If you do not want to enter any of the field, just check the box and it will disable the field. Click on the “Save and continue to setp2” to move further. See below image.

STEP 2 : Select Template Style

On this page, select your choice of template from the huge templates list given in the left of the page. If you do not wish to choose one of them, then you can go for the two options given there: “Create DIY Template” or “Export and Import”. Using this DIY option, you can do great things such as creating DIY template layout, changing header style, body color, navigator color and background of your website. See below image for both the options.

After selecting one of the existing template, it will take you to the third step.

STEP 3 : Select Your Web Site Style

Here, you can modify your website, such as picking a color and layout changes such as changing header picture, editing the site wide blocks and embedding code, navigator position, font, moving company name and slogan. Once you are done with the necessary changes, click on Save button on the right. See below image:

STEP 4 : Page Structure

Here in this section, you can pick the the web pages you want on your website and click on the middle Move button. The web pages such as About Us, Products, Services, Portfolio, Order, Links and Contact Us. See below image:

You can also add the “File based components” such as online form, photo album, guest book and “Database based components” such as newsletter, blog, faq and photo gallery. In order to add the database based components you will need to create new database, which can be done by clicking on the “Create/Change Database” button at the bottom of the page will open a pop-up as shown in the below image:

By selecting the first option “Create Database Automatically” it will create a database automatically, and if you wish to create it by your own select the second option “Custom database configuration”. Once you are done with creating database,  click on the Save button on the “Page Structure” page.

STEP 5 : Site Content

On this page you can add content to the web pages you have elected in the STEP4. To edit every web page content, it shows two options: WYSIWYG & HTML. Using WYSIWYG you can do modifications such as Formatting Text, Insert JavaScript Code, Special Characters, Text and Image Hyperlink, Resize Image, Search and Replace (Design), Create Counter, Bookmark, copy data from MS Word and paste into WYSIWYG, Upload Document and Link to it, Create Table adn border mangement, Add List, Insert HTML code, Upload Image and Image Properties. By choosing the HTML editor you will be able to edit the complete source code of that web page.

Once you are done with the modifications, click on the STEP6 at top of the page.

STEP 6 : Extra – Custom Web Page Title

Here you can edit the “Web Page Title” that will appear in your browser. You can also add meta tags to improve your rankings and get indexed by search engines, page effects and page name such as (ex: http://yourdomainname.com/Our-Products-Page).

STEP 7 : Publish Your Web Site

This is the last step to finish your website construction, you can either choose the site from the first drop down box, or you can set the address by choosing the second option. For ex: http://www.yourdomainname.com or http://www.yourdomainname.com/folder . Once you have decided, you may hit the Publish button.
