You can also create new and modify existing domains in this section.   Domain Templates Domain Templates allow you to create predefined templates for new domains that you add to your account. You can also set up your e-mail account in your favourite e-mail client using the Post Office or Internet Message Access protocols (POP3 / IMAP).     File Manager For the times when you cannot use FTP, you can use Plesk's built-in web-based file manager allowing you to edit and delete files, upload new files and much more.   FTP Accounts FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a standard to make it easy and convenient to upload, download and modify files on your hosting account. You need to have an FTP account to make use of FTP. Once you have an FTP account, you can download a free FTP client such as FileZilla on Windows, OS X and Linux or Cyberduck on OS X and use FTP to easily download, upload and edit files on your website.     Password Protected Directories If you're actively developing a new area of your website, or completely redesigning your website, you can make use of Password Protected Directories in order to prevent others from accessing that area. When you first register a domain name or you have changed the nameservers of your existing domain name, it can take between 1 \96 48 hours for DNS propagation to take place; and until that period, your website will not be accessible through the domain name. Site Preview resolves this gap by alloying you to view your website while you wait for DNS propagation to complete. This is useful if you want to test your website's design or functionality while DNS propagation is taking place. It's as simple as using a direct image URL of another website on your website or blog and each time the image is viewed, it is using your accounts bandwidth. It can be easily mitigated by use of hotlink protection as shown below.     Active Sessions You can view all of the active sessions in the Plesk Control Panel and on the FTP server here.   Bandwidth Limiting From here, you can view and adjust the bandwidth limits for the domains you have hosted in your account. You can also set a restriction on the amount of simultaneous connections a domain can receive at any one time in this section.     IIS Application Pool Application pools are a way in which you can separate different web applications and websites into pools. Application pools can be configured to specify which websites can use what version of ASP.NET, for example.   Custom Buttons You can create and upload Custom Buttons in this section, and set the button's attributes \96 such as interface location, button name, URL and so forth).
