If you do not know you can always ask - #WednesdayWisdom

If you do not know you can always ask, but if you do not know never answer wrong. What do you think about this saying?

Nice quote. It is always good to ask if you do not know how to do things. Many of us at times fear that by asking are we will be looked upon as a person who does not know things, but believe me it is better to be looked upon like this rather than be looked upon as a person who commits the error which could have been avoided just by simply asking.

Yes by asking it will avoid a lot of further hassles. I feel asking is being proactive which is always better than reacting after the incident has occurred. A nice quote.

Even if you know the answer it is important to check its significances, because what you know as an answer doesn’t necessarily make it true, unless you define it’s an opinion.

You have hit the bullseye, Irene, let me cite an example where the requirement of the website is for a web hosting plan that will provide resources that are optimized for the website, but the users may think that it is better to sign up for a hosting plan that is less in cost but has reduced resources. Ultimately the users, then realize that it would have been better if the advice was sort from the exuberant sales team of the hosting provided.

Most of the time some assume that they know things which may not always be correct. They feel reluctant to ask others because they think that it will demean their knowledge status. By asking other what happens is that the person from whom the advice is sought also feels nice.
