In what ways are availability and uptime different?

    May I know the difference?

    #2
The term "uptime" refers to the percentage of time that a computer, server, or other system has been operational or available for usage. Uptime is a measure of system dependability. But availability is the likelihood that a system will function as needed when necessary throughout a mission term.

        To check server uptime:
        1) Select Task Manager by right-clicking on the Windows taskbar.
        2) Upon starting Task Manager, select the Performance tab. You may locate the word Uptime under the Performance tab.

Your system's uptime is the period during which it is used as intended, whereas downtime is the period during which it is stalled, shut down, or otherwise not operating as planned.

The proportion of time that the servers used to host the subscription software will be online and correctly run the required web, application, and database server software is known as server availability.
