According to the claims made by hacktivist group Anonymous, they have leaked around 28,000 passwords of PayPal Users.
The self proclaimed activist hackers carried out the hack as away to mark the Guy fawkes night on 5th November.
They claim to have uploaded email addresses, passwords and names of thousands of clients of the payment processing firm.
They have also carried out attacks on various other sites including security firm, Symantec and is said to have defaced many other sites worldwide.
Even though the PayPal spokesperson has not confirmed the attack they are still carrying out an investigation to affirm the claims.
But it is better to ensure one's safety by changing the current passwords.
