Swine flu... to be scared or not to be scared?

It's here in the UK now, seems to be spreading, do you think it poses a big threat?

Right now they're isolated cases from people coming from other countries that are already badly affected...have to wait and see I guess but it's surprising how fast its spread throughout Mexico...

I think it is an infectious rare disease, I look forward for any further investigation surrounding this outbreak?

You can't get it from meat like that

Anyhow, it's technically flying pig flu

Mexico City is badly affected by swine flu where more then 150 people have lost their lives due to this dreadful disease.
As we say “ Prevention is better then Cure “ please take care of personal hygiene. Try to use alcohol based hand sanitizers or use warm water to wash your hands. Wear N99 mask while you are in public places etc...

Each year more than 200,000 people are hospitalized and 36,000 Americans die from complications of Flu too. If I have not had any fear over flu each year I am certainly not going to worry about this getting hold. Itll be much the same as Bird Flu IMHO.

I eat vegetarian for lunch 3 days a week, and no matter how much they try disguise that Soy stuff and pass it off as real meat you will never equal the flavor and experience of eating meat. Ill stick to my diet plan

Anyway, its just called Swine Flu. I am sure as in Texas and Suffolk and the like its probably more to do with the human / swine mating habits of the natives thats the issue there

like it'll ever reach you...the whole thing has been taken out of proportion by the UK media. The only reason big action has been taken (like 32m face masks) is incase a pandemic does happen.. otherwise the government will be blamed for that too...

I spoke to a guy yesterday who is great with consiracy.
He said that the Governments are screwing everything up and the need to take attention away from it.
Well, I havent heard the economy being mentioned in a week since all of this came out.
I am half thinking he is telling the truth.

                              Absolutely right Brian

Only 1 person has died due to Swine flu and see the popularity it has got so far. Thousands die in road Accidents everyday and there's no popularity to those road Accidents.
