How to enable the PTR record?

    From where to download it?

    #2
Click on the Services option> Domains and switch to the DNS tab. Then open the Reverse DNS Zones subtab and tick the name of the reverse DNS zone you need to enable or disable a PTR record in. Choose the check box near the ID column of the respective PTR record in the table and tick Disable or Enable located above the table.

A PTR record is similar to a DNS record like an “A record”. Though, unlike the A record that points a domain name to an IP address, a PTR record points an IP address to a domain or hostname.

A PTR record, also known as a Pointer Record, is a part of info (a record) that is attached to an email message. The PTR record aims to check that the sender ties the IP address it claims to be using. This email ID check process is also known as reverse DNS lookup.
