A tool that allows users to hack their friends Facebook account got very popular and many users tried it for hacking their friends.

However, it was those users who were hacked instead and their accounts were used to promote this hack.

Not a good thing to spy on your Friends now, is it?

Seems to be the case with most of spying tools and applications these days. An easy way for hackers to lure people into giving out their private data and suffer the consequences.

People will forever be fooled by things like this. No matter how much you educate people you can't stop people being stupid .

I am not surprised, people dont even know what the word hacked means anymore. Somebody picks up somebody elses phone which is logged onto Facebook and they post saying they where "hacked" by X person. It doesnt surprise me they think installing a Facebook app which access all of their personal details is fine lol

Yes, that seems to be the case with many kids these days.

The Facebook app is a different thing altogether and many other apps do more harm to the users by using their private data. Probably the new Facebook Anonymous login might come in handy from now on.
