    DDoS Attacks plague UK firms.

According to the second annual UK DDoS & Impact report entitled ‘2014: The Danger Deepens’ by communications and analysis firm Neustar, DDoS attacks on UK businesses have increased by 35% in 2013 and losses amount to £240,000 per day.

Attacks of bandwidth between 1-20 Gbps have increased by 200% and larger DDoS attacks which scale up to 100Gbps have also increased significantly in 2013.

Out of the 331 UK companies surveyed by Neustar, 32 percent confirmed that estimate losses stemming from DDoS attacks cost them about £240,000 per day.

While awareness about such attacks and their consequences has increased there is little effort on part of the business in getting adequate protection.

This sounds like the next big thing from eUKhost. Can't wait for it to come out.

Yeah, It was quite shocking to say the least. So many customers got affected. Not a good thing at all.

Same alert in "Cisco Systems 2014 Annual Security Report"- released on yesterday (8 May).

Total number of cyber threats are increasing worldwide at the rate of almost 14% per year since 2010

New trend in 2014- DDoS are being used to cover/mask cyber frauds.

I guess we are pretty helpless when it comes to DDoS.
