  • New tool developed for monitoring web restrictions

A Web monitoring tool has been developed by US researchers which determines the level of accessibility of web pages around the world.

The tool simply needs a line of code to be added to a webpage which then discreetly collects data when any used visits the website.

By analysing the collected data researchers will be able to determine which websites are blocked in a certain part of the world and how the restrictions can be bypassed.

The tool which is named Encore is the first tool which provides such information and does so without affecting the performance of the website.

That's really cool, now they can easily understand how the unwanted traffic or malicious activities can be done from an IP or URL.
