Twitter has been stressed to make money for some time now. The microblogging site in its new attempt has now introduced a new Twitter Ads button. This button will be displayed on your profile pages. Still awaiting an official announcement, but if the sources are to be believed then it will be available for both iOS and Android users.
Placed side by side to the edit profile button, the settings icon and the account switcher is the new Ads button which enables the user to manage their ad campaigns on Twitter. Previously, users were able to view this feature in the setting options under a list and it was visible just above the options for list, drafts and help. Undergoing the series of changes lately, Twitter recently excluded the 140-character limit on DM (direct messages). It now allows the user to send 10,000 characters long DM. What is amusing is that this news was disclosed on the same day as Dick Costolo the co-founder decided to give up his post as CEO of Twitter. Will the new Ads button change twitters’ fortune?
