Google Testing App Streaming : Easy App Streaming without Installation

Google is testing a new feature called 'App Streaming', A world where you can easily search and review app content along with web content. Google's new app streaming service will let you surf through apps without installing it on your mobile device. Which will save your device memory and creates visibility for each valuable content available out there

Google Says, "We started indexing the content of apps two years ago, so that when people search on Google, they can find the best results whether they’re in an app or on the web. We now have over 100 billion deep links into apps in our index — including some popular apps like Facebook, Instagram, Airbnb or Pinterest — and 40% of searches people do on Android surface app content."



Bringing app content in Search Results seems a big move.

That will be nice as this would make phones that have less RAM manageable and would be good for apps that one use rarely, now the users can save and optimize space on their phone in a better way.

But I think, its a big news for publishers also as their content will get more visits and easy exposure through search results.
