Re: Bank Transfer
Bank transfers from various countries can on occasion take longer to clear. This is an internal process between the banks which we have no control over. In such case we recommend our Customers to email scanned copy of bank payment receipt at [email protected]. Our billing department will make sure that there is no interruption to the services provided by us.

The XPS Viewer is installed by default in Windows Vista and Windows 7. We use Windows Vista machines so the screen shot sent in xps format is also fine. There might be some problem with the xps format you sent that could be the reason why the operator demanded for the screen shot in .jpg format.

Useful extra information as well

With regards to the bank transfer payment it take 3 to 4 working days for the funds to arrive however, we can reinstate the services or approve new orders immediately if we get screen shot of the transfer receipt, make sure it is sent to billing[@]eukhost.com.
This could all be cleared up, I suggest by also adding that a screenshot should be in .jpg format, which was what I was told was required, even though it was not the immediately preceding day. (Mine was sent in a Microsoft format xps which is the format in which webpage invoice got automatically saved when I printed it to a file, and it was acceptable on one, but not the next.)

Hello,
The delay can depend on your bank, but it would never take 5 weeks. It may take 5-7 business days, but it can be done the same day in some cases.
As Steve said if we receive screen shot of the transfer receipt, we approve the order immediately

Bank Transfer
Hello,
Bank Transfer is also referred to as Wire Transfer.
It is the process of transmitting money from one entity to another. A bank transfer can be made from one bank account to another bank account. Bank Transfer can also be done by transferring cash from one account to another at a cash administrative center.
Procedure for Bank Transfer:
1. If an individual wants to make a bank transfer, he visits a bank and the bank provides a form which a person is required to submit with proper details to his Bank.
2. While making a Bank transfer you need to have the following details::
- Bank Name:
- Payee Name:
- Sort Code:
- Account Number:
- IBAN:
- SWIFT:
3. Bank Transfer usually takes 3-4 days to reflect amount in the payee’s account. However, some banks have a fast processing system and the amount is transferred the same day.
4. While making a bank transfer, one should always enter a proper reference number to help the Payee locate the account.
Some Banks do provide online forms from where an online bank transfer can be made from one entity to other.
1. Sort Code: Sort Code is a number assigned for internal purpose to a particular branch of a bank. Sort Code is used because it is not always feasible to write down the bank’s full address. Sort Code differs from branch to branch. A Sort Code is made up of 6 characters with three pairs and hyphens in between. A Sort Code looks like this: 45-67-89
2. IBAN: IBAN stands for "International Bank Account Number". It is required while making an international bank transfer. IBAN is a mixture of Swift Code, Sort Code, and Account Number. If you are making an electronic funds transfer, then there should be no spaces in the IBAN.
United Kingdom accounts usually contain 22 characters in an IBAN.
3. Swift Code: SWIFT term stands for "Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication"
ISO approves the Swift Code which is a standard format of Bank Identifier Codes. Swift Code is the unique code for a particular bank.
Swift Code contains first four letters of the bank name, two letters of the Country name and other unique numbers provided by ISO.
eUKhost bank transfer details are included with Invoices which are sent to client's registered email address. While making bank transfer in eUKhost bank account make sure to include your company name or Invoice Number as a Reference. It helps us to locate the payment easily and accounts are maintained properly.Last edited by Karen P; 19-02-2009, 07:52.Tags: None
