I have alot of website hostings with live chat, and have to IFRAME them to another shell so i can make it look like its in the website hostings, so why not support CGI:IRC ?

i also use IRC - you can get a JAVA version to embed in to your website hosting.

Yeah, I would vote Java - not a CGI based script... I much prefer using my personal IRC client.

they use their own chat screen thing thats fairly ok also thye have MSN Messenger so there are already lots of ways of contacting Eukhost but i know IRC is very popular though!

IRC is really popular, especially with the more geeky among us I suspect. Some kind of support for this could really help

I am not sure whether we should opt for IRC channel as none other hosting company offers such service. I would like to see more suggestions from all our customers on this topic as we need majority to approve IRC service.

An IRC channel would be great for user support, helping each other. Who cares what other hosts offer? You guys are here to set standards, not follow like sheep, so go do it

Well, i prefer CGI:IRC because i had a Java one and it hung on alot of the slower PC's, the CGI:IRC was excellent IMHO, only draw back was it had to be hosted on a Linux computer with an IRC program installed, which EUK dosent offer.
