    Addon Domains Hosting

I have checked cpanel hosting plans for euk and see that these plans include unlimited addon domains hosting. Can anyone explain how addon domains work and how can multiple domains be hosted on one account ?

to the forums and we hope that we will share a good amount of knowledge with you

Addon domains are nothing but additional domains apart from the main domain hosted on the hosting plan. It's possible for you to host multiple domains on the same hosting plan, however, the number of domains you can host depends on the hosting plan you choose.

There is no limit on the number of addon domains you can host with our cPanel hosting plans, however, the number of addon domains you can host with the Windows hosting plan depends on the Windows hosting plan you choose.

Is the maximum number of domains (total domains) I can host with the Windows hosting plans mentioned on the website ?

Yes, we have mentioned the total number of domains you can host with the Windows hosting plans on the page of our website which displays the Windows hosting plans we offer.

You can check the number of domains you can host below the Windows hosting plans under >> DOMAIN NAMES >>> Domains to host

Yes, many web hosts will offer you multiple domain hosting, basically this means that, in addition with the main domain, you will be able to host multiple domains under one single Linux shared hosting account or windows hosting account. Linux web hosting plans lets you to point the additional domains to any subdirectory you want. For example: you can create two websites one for your company and one as a hobby site, and both will have their own domain name.

In addition to above multiple domain hosting discussion, I would like to add a bit more advantages about add-on domain hosting, adding more add-on domains under your account, you can simply create and manage multiple emails accounts and multiple databases, which is one of the best advantages for small online businesses.

Nowadays, I have noticed that most of the provders are offering Softaculous (one click installer) instead of Fantastico. Though it is new, it offers a lot more features compare to the Fantastico application. Importing any script in to softaculous is very easy and could be done only in 4 clicks. Simply, open softaculous, choose the script you want to import, click on import, choose a domain and mention the directory where you want it to install. That's it!

It is the best application that permits you to easily install wordpress blogs, e-commerce stores, Content Management Systems, forums and many more directly into your eUKhost web hosting account. It is very simple to use and supports almost all the best web applications available.

Thanks for the information so far. If I choose a cpanel hosting plan, how do I add addon domains on that plan and will I get a separate control panel for each addon domain ?

Will the users come to know that additional domains are hosted as addon domains or would websites hosted on these domains appear as regular websites ?

The add-on domains must point to corresponding DNS similar to the main domain.
Once done, you are ready to be able to add the add-on domains.
                  • You must login to your cPanel
                  • Select“add-on domain”.
                  • Here you can add the domains.

All this happens at the back-end. Plus you are simply managing different domains through a single control panel, apart from that there is no difference.

You will get an option to Add add-on domains in cPanel control panel. You will get only 1 control panel with all our cPanel hosting plans and all the domains are to be managed from the same control panel.

No. The visitors on the website will never know that the websites are hosted on the same cPanel hosting plan. The websites will have their own separate identity.

No. It's not possible to have different cPanel control panels for different domains with the Linux cPanel hosting plans. If you wish to have different cPanel control panels for different domains, you need to consider a Linux cPanel reseller hosting plan.

Definitely, a cPanel reseller hosting plan could be a great if you wish to host and manage each and every domain with a separate control panel. You can create small hosting packages according to your requirements and host your domains under those accounts. However, managing each domain from separate control panels would be hectic job, instead I would recommend to go for shared cpanel hosting plans.

Out of curiosity, may I ask you, why you intend to have different control panels for different domains? Coz. most webmasters look for simplifying their tasks, hence the ability of adding and managing multiple domains with a single cPanel control panel proves helpful.

I was asking that question to know if I can have different cPanel control panels for each domain as it will be possible to resell hosting services only if I can offer different cPanel control panel to each customer but I guess it's not possible with the cPanel shared hosting plan and I'll have to go for a cPanel reseller plan.

This is exactly what I want but I want to know how is that possible ?
