Do you support any forum software?

    Hello!

I am just wondering if EUKhost supports all forum softwares. I have heard of a few hosting companies that only offer a certain forum to be used on their software, for example, invision power services requires you use an invision board on their hosted sites.

    Thanks!

Yes we do support all the forum softwares on our hosting packages. I'd recommend using vBulletin or phpBB or SimpleMachines. Any of these can be installed on all of our Linux shared/reseller packages, including VPS, SDs & Dedicated servers too..

I agree with phpBB and vBulletin being very good scripts, but I'm not too fond of SMF.

What about YaBB (Yet Another Bulletin Board)? It's a forum software written in Perl. Do you support it?

I like vBulletin and I would love to run my forum on the forum software, unfortunately it's not free. Currently I am using SMF and I think it's nice. I hope my forum members also like it.

SMF is nice & they've even released a new version 2 last month, didn't try that yet but I'd stick to phpBB3 when it comes to free forum hosting

I am curious to know why. I have been running SMF for years now and I have never had an issue. Heck, I have more issues when my billing system is updated compared to my boards.
I took a long vacation but I'm back!

SMF is a great forum software. I do think it is a little more user/admin friendly (especially admin friendly) than phpBB. It still doesn't beat the paid softwares though, but it definitely gets the job done fine in a nice, sleek way.
