    This is a (continually added) comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions for our shared and reseller hosting services. If you have any questions which are not listed here and on our website, please feel free to contact our sales team on [email protected] or by calling us on 0800 862 0380.

    Do you offer custom shared hosting packages if I have specific requirements?
    You can contact us if you have custom requirements, however our predetermined packages generally meet most of our customer's requirements. Please e-mail our sales team on [email protected] if you have specific requirements that cannot be fulfilled by our predetermined shared or reseller hosting packages. Our sales team will be happy to assist you.

    Do you offer shared web hosting on a monthly payment term?
    Yes, but it works out more expensive if you wish to do this. Our shared hosting packages start at just 32.99 per year which is equivalent to just 2.75 per month. When you purchase shared web hosting with us, if you also register a domain name with us at 8.98 per year, your web hosting will cost just 41.97 per year. You can, of course, purchase web hosting on a monthly term with our Monthly Web Hosting packages starting at 6.99 per month with 1GB disk space and 20GB monthly data transfer. We have three separate pay monthly packages for you to choose from. And as always, there are no time-bound contracts - you can cancel at any point in time as you see fit.

    Do you allow legal adult content to be hosted on your network?
    Yes. For full information, please read our Terms of Service.

    Do you offer a 30 day money back guarantee with your web hosting packages?
    Yes. Most of our hosting services come with a 30 day money back guarantee, except for our dedicated servers. Simply contact our billing team via the customer client area to request cancellation of your service. If you have complied with all the terms of your service with us, our billing team will process your refund if you request it within 30 days of your service first being activated with us. This request must be made in writing via our client area.

    How do I contact eUKhost for high-value orders?

    Is your technical support operational 24x7?
    Yes. Our sales and support team are in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Regardless of the time you contact us, we'll have someone available to help you. We have Level I, Level II and Level III system administrators available at all times during the day and night to ensure uninterrupted service and support to our customers.

    Are your shared and reseller hosting servers PCI compliant?
    Unfortunately not. Not all of our customers require our servers to be PCI compliant which is the primary reason our shared and reseller servers are not PCI compliant (as well as for technical reasons). If you require an environment for your business website which is fully PCI compliant, you will need to consider our VPS Hosting, Cloud Hosting or Dedicated Servers.     I am not looking for a Dedicated Server but needing to upgrade from a shared hosting environment?
    You can take a look at our VPS Hosting packages. However, you may also want to take a look at our eNlight Cloud Hosting which is just as affordable as VPS Hosting.

    Are all of your hosting services fully managed?
    Yes, they're fully managed - VPS Hosting, Dedicated Hosting, Cloud Hosting and Semi-Dedicated Hosting inclusive. Do not expect any per-instance fees for technical support as you won't get any - we do not charge anything extra for technical support - it's included in your service with us.

    Do you offer SSL certificates?
    Yes, here. With every SSL certificate you will need to have a Dedicated IP, which you also purchase from us for just 20 per year. You can purchase a Dedicated IP after you've ordered your SSL certificate via our client area. If you require any assistance installing your SSL certificate, please do not hesitate to contact our support team who will be happy to assist.

    How does eNlight Cloud work?
    eNlight Cloud is a cloud-based virtualisation platform, much like our vLite VPS Hosting packages being a virtualisation platform. Our eNlight Cloud system autoscales your eNlight Cloud VM's resources automatically on the fly, meaning your VM only uses the amount of CPU resources and RAM that it needs. You are only charged for what you use - and this is on a pay-as-consumed basis. Your eNlight credit is used to pay for your eNlight Cloud usage. Your eNlight credit needs to be topped up manually - much like a pay-as-you-go mobile SIM - so there are no monthly invoices or bills to pay. You only need to "top up" when you are running low on eNlight credit. Each top up must be a minimum of 10. For more information, please see our frequently asked questions on eNlight Cloud Hosting.

    How long does it take for my order to be processed?
    It depends entirely on what service you sign up for. For shared and reseller hosting orders, your account should be set up within a few hours or less. For VPS Hosting orders, your virtual server should be set up by the end of the day - usually within 2 - 6 hours. For Dedicated Server orders, they will take a little longer because they need to be set up at the data centre in Maidenhead/Milton Keynes. For Dedicated Server orders, your server should be set up by the end of the next business day - usually within 24 to 48 hours. However, any order you place may be delayed if our sales team need to complete extended checks against your order - for example, if our sales team need to contact you to verify your order for anti-fraud purposes. Our sales team will contact you if this is necessary.
