    Hello,

Is it still possible to have Frontpage with the shared servers?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Maldwyn,

Thank you for writing in. I am afraid, unfortunately we no more allow to install Frontpage server extensions on our shared plans.

Feel free to revert in case of any further queries.

    Regards,
    Albie Stevens

        Re: Front Page Requirement

You might want to consider Microsoft Expressions Web against the aging FPSE: Prerequisites for Using Microsoft Expression Web

The famous WYSIWYG HTML editor & Web site administration tool from Microsoft, Frontpage Extensions were retired/discontinued after no further developments were being done on it. As this editor relied on HTTP protocol for communication, & CGI/POST for server-side processing. few major flaws were noticed recently in the client/server communication, resulting into a chaotic situation. Almost all major hosting businesses & web designers have moved from it.

Microsoft SharePoint Designer is another such good tool which you might like!

          Great Info

A complete assassination report for Frontpage

As suggested Sharepoint Designer is a better option to go ahead, as it is always to move on with the trend and be flexible to survive.
