We currently have UK based hosting with you and are very happy with the service and support. Is it possible to also have Windows Shared hosting in a US based server?

How would the quality of uptime/support compare to the UK server in the Bluesquare DC? Whereabouts is the DC in the US and what is the relation between you and the server - co-lo, bought by eukhost from another company, etc. What if the server goes down, what staff are there? Who's staff are they?

We won't be able to offer you Shared hosting package on US based Server however we can offer you VPS and Dedicated Server in US.

Our US Data Center is based in Chicago Facility of Hurricane Electric. We have our own Racks and servers in US Datacenter as well. All our backup servers are based in US. We have our own staff taking care of our servers 24x7. There won't be any difference in level of uptime/support as you'd be able to contact us anytime you wish via Live chat, Phone or Helpdesk if you have any problems.

We can provide with cpanel shared and cpanel reseller hosting packages one some of our US based servers, but Windows shared hosting won't be possible. I will talk to our windows team and ask them to setup small windows server for shared hosting in US, but we will need to advertise US hosting as well to fillup that server.

As of now you can consider a Windows VPS as it can take some time for setup of a windows shared hosting server.

Distance from the server location & hosting in a specific country is a primary requirement of certain SEO experts..

If you're hosting a site in a specific country where your aim is to target users in a particular geographic location [US, UK, Canada, etc], it's a necessity to have it hosted in that specific country.. for this purpose you can use Google's geographic target tool to provide them with information that will help them determine how your site appears in the country-specific search results, & also improve the search results for geographic queries. This data enhances the existing on-hand information, & setting a geographic target won't impact your appearance in search results at all..

There are various other reasons which include the Ping timings & Traceroute hops.. the lesser the time in both [which is measured in milli secs MS] the faster you have access to the site..
