Which FTP programs do you guys allow? I have been using filezilla for a while but I am not sure it is really satisfying my needs anymore because I have trouble finding things I was looking at previously.

Do you mean programs to connect to the FTP server? Or you want to have the list of FTP servers we provide?

I mean programs to connect to the FTP server. I'm thinking SmartFTP but it costs money. I'm wondering if I can just get away with FileZilla.

FileZilla or WSFTP are trusted and reliable FTP clients that are preferred by many webmasters. The most important thing is that, it is absolutely FREE !!

I been using FireFTP (an add-on for Firefox) for the past few years now. It works brilliantly for me, it's free and reliable with quite a few features that I find invaluable like keeping directories in synch as you navigate and quick 'view on the web' function.

Definitely one for you to look at.

FileZilla, now this works with FireFox? I have been using smartftp for so long and I only recently started paying, since it used to be free. I will consider filezilla. How exactly does it work in the firefox browser?

So far the only luck I've got with FTP is from Filezilla. I am still learning my around though. When I forget the password I seem to get locked out even after changing the password from the cPane.

CuteFTP and FileZilla are the best FTP softwares I have used so far and would recommend both to others.

CuteFTP? I have never tried CuteFTP before. Is this free? I really need to get rid of SmartFTP if it's not even on anyone's top list, and it is costing me money!!!
