    Hosting Advice

    Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some help and advice on the packages you offer. I am a new Website Design Company and am looking for a good Hosting company that will enable me to have one hosting account and a number of domains linked to the account.

Ideally I would like unlimited Domains linked and also a large amount of disk space and monthly data transfer, at the moment I have a hosting account with another host provider but their business package only allows 50 hosted domains and there are many limitations and restrictions set on their servers. Can someone please suggest me the right hosting plan?

To be truly accurate you would have to define large disk space / bandwidth etc. What are your current resource requirements? And what is your budget. Which OS would you like your hosting package to be on?

Shared hosting could be considered for disk space up to 10GB and monthly bandwidth up to 100GB / month.

Are you reselling space to clients or just managing lots of domains yourself? If you are reselling to clients then obviously shared hosting isn't suitable. In that case you would have to consider reseller with the best reseller account providing 60GB disk space and 200GB / month bandwidth.

The max VPS account could support up to 35GB disk space and 500GB / month bandwidth.

If these are not enough then you would be considering cloud based / dedicated server hosting.

Then there is always the new eNlight service - which is pay as you go hosting which can expand and contract based on your resource needs. This can be suitable for a wide range of people and ensure you don't pay for resources that you don't require while expanding when you need more resources (up to a max limit which you can set).

If you provide more information then I / another customer / an eUK staff member will be able to assist you more .

After going through your requirements and the issues you are facing with the current hosting provider, I would recommend you to choose our Cloud server. You can choose the amount of disk space, RAM, bandwidth and CPU resources you need with the Cloud server while placing an order for it and it can also be customized if your requirements increased in future. We do not have any restrictions on the Cloud servers and hence you can host unlimited domains on it (depends on the control panel you choose). You can also install the applications you need on the server which makes it a suitable choice for you.

I have to got to say that although I have not tried it yet, eNlight does sound like a great platform to host almost any site .
