      Hello.

      There was an issue with the file system on the /home partion. In order to resolve this, we had rebooted the server and then run FSCK.

      Now the server is online and all sites are loading fine. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the lack of notice.

        Occasional outages do happen but all my clients seemed to have noticed this morning! Hence the urgency!

        This has happened on more than one occasion today, hopefully it's sorted for good now...

              Dear Customer.

              We have found that the server is throwing the file system error and getting stuck due to ext4 file system. In order to resolve this issue, we have decided to change the file system on /home partition to ext3 system.

              As it needs to complete in live environment, we will have to sync the data onto some other server and mount it via NFS. We will post further updates here.

                OK, but was there a need to delete my earlier post that it had failed again and the later post about the poor online chat support? No.
                Language and wording was perfectly acceptable and professional.
                Censoring such posts is very worrying...

                  Dear Customer.

                  The file system issue has been sorted and all the sites are loading fine.
                  We appreciate your patience and regret the inconvenience caused due to this issue.

                  @Bud Boy:: Our L1 tech was waiting for an update and hence got delayed to reply you. The issue was critical as the /home partition had ext4 filesystem. We found that the server threw the file system error. This results in locking of file system and server being in accessible. This was being handled by one of our senior technician & that is the reason this delay. At times such critical issues takes time to detect.
