  • PHPform Safe Mode update for phpFormGenerator

    Hi, Following the upgrade to PHPform Safe Mode I have several sites that are using phpFormGenerator which I have still been unable to get working.

    I am no PHP expert hence the reason for using phpFormGenerator. The line that is causing the problem is:

    mail("[email protected]","CV Form Submitted from www.domainname",$message,"From: domainname Website");

    How do I update the phpFormGenerator scripts?

    You can not use php mail function in Safe Mode. The mail() is disabled through disable_function parameter in the php.ini file. Try to use SMTP to send emails.

      Is the a programme somewhere similar to phpformgenerator that can help with this or a tutorial?

        How to Send Email from a PHP Script Using SMTP Authentication - About Email.

        Its better to use SMTP over mail() as well due to the increased flexibility of SMTP.

        Hope that helps .
