Like other people on this forum, I get my IP blocked regularly. I have posted to one of the other threads on this forum my experience, but my post was never approved. Whitelisting is 100% useless, my office IP is not static, and I work from multiple loctions. I have complained about the firewall being over active, but am told this is normal. It is not. Many platforms like Joomla CMS use an increased number of connections. It is nowhere near a DDOS attack level, but enough to trigger over zealous firewall rules. It can be a near daily activity to go on live chat and request a firewall unblock. I already lost one client due to them not being able to edit their website through Joomla without getting blocked.

Re: IP blocks
Dear Wyvernit,
As per the issue reported by you, it seems to be an issue due to mod_security module installed on the server. One of the rules must be triggering. I have checked the logs for the username but unable to find any logs. Kindly initiate a Live Chat and provide the domain name for which you are facing the issue and your local IP, we will check it further. If required, we will bypass conflicting rule for your domain name.
Regards,
Sheridan.

Do you have a support ticket open for this? If yes, please PM me the ticket ID or if not, the domain name facing this problem, so I can check & resolve this permanently.
