How do I setup subdomains in cPanel?

  • #2
To setup a subdomain in cPanel, there is an icon labeled as- "Subdomains" and click on this label. By clicking on this, you're directed to the management page of the subdomain, where you can setup subdomains and associate these with the specific folders in your local file systems.

If you're looking for wildcard subdomains, use an asterisk or * as the subdomain and then associate the subdomain with the same folder as your main WordPress install.

Also, in case you've your site hosted somewhere else and looking to manage these with your existing cPanel account, then you just have to use the DNS Zone Editor.
