How to Add a New User in cPanel Panel?

    Hello Friends,

I have recently bought Linux shared hosting with a cPanel control panel. But while adding a new user in the cPanel, I am facing some issues. So, can anyone please explain the process in detail?

    Hello,

You can easily add new user in the cPanel, just need to follow some steps. Use cPanel’s User Manager tool to create additional user accounts for e-mail, FTP or Web Disk services. Here, I have shared the best the and important article that explains how to create an account, set up their password and specify services that are available to that user. Hello,

You can also follow the mentioned steps to Add a New User in cPanel Panel
      • Access your cPanel account.
      • Navigate to the Preferences menu and select User Manager.
      • To begin creating a new user account, open User Manager and click the Add User option.
      • Fill out the form provided to create a new user account. You must enter the following information:
        • The full name of the user
        • The username for the account
        • You can specify which domain(s) a user can access if you have numerous domains.
        • An e-mail address at which the user can be reached.
You can also allow the user to generate their own password or provide them with one.

If you allow the user to set their own password, they will receive an email with instructions. When you set the password, a dialogue box will appear in which you may either generate a random password or enter one that you have previously created.
      • Specify the services to which the user has access.
By clicking the slider next to each of the service boxes near the bottom of the form, you can enable or disable the user's access to those services.
      • When you enable a service, you can configure its options.
        • You can limit the size of the user's email mailbox using email options.
        • FTP settings allow you to limit the maximum file size that may be uploaded and stored.
        • You can limit a user's access to folders and regulate whether they have read/write or read-only permissions using Web Disk settings.
      • After entering the user's information and granting the required access and permissions, click the Create button at the bottom of the page. The new user account will be established shortly.
