  • CentOS6_CPanel Template

    Hey guys,
Could you please check the CentOS6_CPanel template? I have tried to setup a couple of new VMs today with this template and it doesn't actually seem to include WHM/CPanel. I had opened a ticket and they were able to confirm that it was effectively plain CentOS that was installed.

I know we can install WHM/CPanel manually but it would be great if the template did this automatically.

    Thanks

    Hi David,

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. I'm forwarding this onto my colleague Rishi, one of our eNlight engineers, as he will be able to look into this for you and answer your question directly. The template should be including cPanel and WHM.

    Kind regards,

    Ben Stones.

        Re: CentOS6_CPanel Template

        Thanks Philip,
I have recreated a VM using the CentOS6_CPanel template and I can see that there are files on it related to CPanel.

Is there something additional that needs to be done to get WHM/CPanel to start up when the server starts/restarts? When I go to http://<my ip address>:2086/ nothing happens, the page cannot be found...

          Re: CentOS6_CPanel Template

          Hello David,

I investigate the issue and found the default iptable rules restricting the access to cpanel ports.
This is now corrected and WHM/Cpanel both can be accessed without any problem.

          Regards,
          Philip S.
