Request: vmware control panel

Following a rare collapse of my vmware Cloud and the subsequent time it took to get it back up and running, is there a way to give us customers access to a control panel? I asked this sometime ago in an off-forum conversation and if I recall there was something afoot but nothing has been mentioned since then.

Hello EJ,

Reboot, power off, power on and remote console are with the development team. It should be fairly quick, as it is an open API. It would be integrated into the billing panel though.

The other one was vCloud Director which offers near vCenter access. However, we have set it up 3 times so far and keep finding a need for the hardware. We are just waiting for some more to become available from consolidations.

This sounds like a plan! Having a console would go a long way to assisting with start up problems (in lieu of timeous support status ). Integrating into billing seems to be appropriate too, as seen with other providers. Perhaps some time could be found to push this out.
